Gotta have strawberry shortcake for 4th of July!!
It's been a long week with LOTS of Architecture stuff going on. I plan to take today off, but wanted to post my Friday Favorite first. No, it's not strawberry shortcake.
You know how, in the summer, when you walk out of a store or office that is so air-conditioned you have goosebumps? And then you get in your car which has been sitting in the sunny parking lot for half an hour and the car feels so nice and warm. Sure, the car is a hundred and thirty seven degrees and you'll die if you sit there too long. But it's nice to sit for five seconds and just enjoy being warm. I love that.
Have a great 4th of July everyone! Next week, I'll be on a break but I'll see you all in the middle of July. Happy reading and writing!

Agree, agree, agree!! I'm not into hot in general, and being in a warm car for too long makes me heatsick. But those first few minutes are bliss... :)
