Las Palmeras, Otavalo, EcuadorToday, I bought a new pair of swim trunks for The Boy and a new pair of Asics tennies for me. I also booked appointments with the travel clinic to get immunizations for Yellow Fever, Dengue Fever, Malaria and various forms of Hepatitis. Sound like fun? All in prep for our trip to Ecuador next month.

I'm getting excited! We fly to Quito March 20th and head straight to Otavalo, where we'll stay at Las Palmeras, shown above. Lovely little boutique hotel a couple miles outside town.

I am most excited about temperatures in the 70's.
The Boy is most excited about seeing a real volcano.
Hubby is most excited about eating cuy (roasted guinea pig).
Really? He's excited about eating guinea pig? Ewww.
ReplyDeleteThe hotel looks absolutely gorgeous! I'm so jealous. Next month we'll be going to Colorado to ski. I go because my family loves it, but I'd much rather be in sunny Ecuador!
