Today cancelled due to lack of enthusiasm

I finished my architecture stuff early. It's not even noon. I have a whole four hours to work on my WIP....and I'm totally uninspired. I don't want to write. I want to go shopping and eat junk food. I want to play tennis and then soccer, and then eat some more junk food.

Why is it when I'm inspired to write, I never have the time. And when I have the time, I'm so often not in a writing mood?

Who ever feels this way? Who wants junk food?

  3. LOL Maybe we're just all insane? Why else would we put ourselves through writing as a career?

I'm on a diet and exercise program. Jillian Michaels from The Biggest Loser's program is a killer, but I lost inches the first week, so it's promising.

  4. Lol, I know what you mean! I got soooo caught up this weekend and this morning that I have a good portion of the afternoon and evening to write and my mind is struggling with going there.

I really want some Reeses Pieces. And a soda. And a good movie :D

  5. I feel this way all the time. If you figure out a cure, share with me huh? Or you can just share the junk food. =]

  6. I went shopping and I ate junk food, AND I'm still uninspired.

And NOW I want some Reese's pieces, which I will share with everyone except Corey (you get to eat at sundown, right? I'll save you some) and Lynette (who I'm not liking now b/c I should be doing the Big Loser program and you're making me feel guilty).

It's nice to know, though, I'm not alone in my uninspiration. :)

  7. I've been uninspired for a week or two, if that helps.

Also, can I have some Reese's Pieces? *looks pitifully at Amy* Pleeese?

  8. Yes, everyone gets Reese's pieces. :) And also danishes, frozen french fries and cheeseburgers from Pac-Out.

    Tomorrow, we'll have lentil soup.

  9. If there's nothing there I usually read. Other people's writing tends to motivate me. (Unless it sucks.)

  10. Some times you have to say, "what the bleep?" and take the day off.

I hope your WIP gets some love tomorrow.

  11. Inspired to write when there's no time? And completely blank when there's time? Story of my life!

Linked over from Corey's blog and love this post :)

    Also, I want junk food!

  12. Hi Sarah! Just so you know, after I ate junk food yesterday, I wrote 400 words. Maybe there's a correlation there. ;)
